Ambassador of Canada H.E. Kati Csaba and CANSEE Canadian Serbian Business Association hosted another successful traditional Christmas reception at the Canadian Embassy’s residence on the 9th of December.
CANSEE and Maverick Consulting organized “Effective Methods to deal with Everyday Business Challenges” seminar, on November 19, 2019, at Hotel Constantine the Great. The numerous participants of the workshop were representatives of more than10 companies and organizations. This type of workshop is very useful and has a very big value in helping deal with daily matters regarding various business issues.
The 9th International Conference on Mineral Resources held on November 5-6, 2019 at Metropol Palace Hotel in Belgrade gathered the most senior members of the local, regional and world’s business community and government officials of the highest. The conference also provided a perspective of the world’s mining experience in the domain of sustainable mining, female leadership in mining, opportunities of mining projects in Serbia and region, best international practices, progress report for mining impact to local societies and innovations in mining. The aim of this conference was to connect mining sector investors and experts with all relevant governmental, financial and social stakeholders.

Corporate Innovation Conference, the largest regional event dedicated to corporate innovation was held for the second time in a row, on October 22, 2019, at the Belexpocenter in Belgrade and organized by the ICT Hub. Corporate Innovation Conference 2019. is the flagship event dedicated exclusively to corporate innovation in Serbia.
On October 24, the fourth annual conference Doing Business 2020 was held in Belgrade. At the opening, Deputy Prime Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, H.E. Zorana Mihajlovic said that for the past several years Serbia has not been competing with the average results, but rather the global top performers and has advanced four places on the World Banks for 2020. Being ranked 9th in construction permitting, as well as the progress from 48th to 44th position in the overall ranking, oblige Serbia to be even more efficient in implementing reforms in other areas as well, so as to further improve the rating next year.
