Schneider Electric, one of the global leaders in digital transformation of energy management and automatization, organized the Innovation Summit in Paris on April 5 and April 6. Over 5,000 partners, clients, influencers and representatives of media from all over the world gathered at Expo Porte de Versailles.

This year’s Innovation Summit world tour (the second one ever) encompassed 20 events worldwide – twice as many as in 2017. The central event in Paris was the biggest event of Schneider Electric so far, at which the latest achievements of the EcoStruxure platform were presented. SE experts and leading world experts in this industry gathered at the Paris fair in order to share experiences about the possibilities of launching a digital economy.

EcoStruxure uses advances made in the IoT, mobility, sensors, the cloud technology, analytics and cyber-security in order to secure innovativeness in various segments – from connected products, to apps, analytics and services. So far, EcoStruxure has been implemented in over 480,000 installations, with the support of 20,000 system integrators, connecting over 1.5 million assets.

Technologies such as the Internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence and big data analytics are making companies more efficient and innovative, boosting their competitive advantage – said Jean-Pascal Tricoire, Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric, in his introductory speech

– As a responsible industry leader, we need to demonstrate how our innovations help our customers and partners make a successful digital transformation in energy management and automation. Our technologies, built on EcoStruxure, harness the power of digitization, enabling our customers to become more efficient, safe, reliable, connected and sustainable – leaders in the New Digital Economy – Tricoire said.

During the two-day event, customers could attend Strategy Talks on topics as varied as “Redefining power distribution”, “Intuitive manufacturing, thanks to digitization” and “Reinvented buildings.” The company also conducted 15+ Expert Learning Sessions with its customers and partners, delivering concrete customer successes and solutions and interactive discussions between participants.

A 5,000 m2 Innovation Hub demonstrated the wealth of Schneider Electric’s software, solutions and services. This Hub also housed a Partner Village featuring the company’s network of technology partners and start-ups.
