In the first quarter of 2015 the income of “Asseco SEE” company amounted to EUR 23.8 million.
“Asseco SEE” Group ended the first quarter with the results better than those from the same period last year indicating successful beginning of the new year, the company stated.
After 3 months, the sales revenue reached EUR 23.8 million, compared to the same period of 2014 when it amounted to EUR 23.7 million. Payment business unit recorded an increase of EUR 2 million (29%) compared to the first three months in 2014. The growth achieved also applies to payments via internet and to physical payments. For its part, in the first quarter of 2015, Banking business unit sales increased by more than EUR 0.7 million (12%) compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the revenue from sales of own solutions increased by 12% from EUR 14 million in the same period of 2014 to EUR 15.7 million after the first quarter of 2015.
Earnings before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) reached EUR 2.4 million, which represents an increase of 24% compared to EUR 1.9 million achieved in the first 3 months of 2014.
ASEE Group operating profitability reached 10% after the first 3 months of 2015, which represents an increase of 1.9 percentage points compared to the same period last year. ASEE Group net income increased by 17% compared to the first quarter of the previous year, reaching almost EUR 2 million after the first 3 months of 2015.
– This is the fourth consecutive quarter in which ASEE has improved its financial results compared to the same periods in the previous years. Better results after the first three months of 2015 were achieved by the growth of revenues in sales and improved profitability in the Banking business unit. Significant revenue growth and improvement of results were also recorded in the Payment business unit – commented Pyotr Jelenski, the President of the Board of Directors of “Asseco SEE” Group.
The company has announced that the value of contracts signed for 2015 amounts to EUR 75.9 million, which represents an increase of 8% compared to the same period last year.
