Info-logistics provider cargo-partner invests EUR 3 million in expanding its logistics center in Dunajskà¡ Streda (Slovakia) to over 22,000 pallet slots. Direct connection to container terminal provides cross-dock options for intermodal transport to Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Koper and Rijeka.
International transport and info-logistics provider cargo-partner is expanding its warehouse space in Slovakia. The company currently operates two modern logistics centers in Slovakia: one in Bratislava with a capacity of 14,000 pallet slots, and one in Dunajskà¡ Streda with a capacity of 7,000 pallet slots to date.
In January 2016, cargo-partner launched the second construction phase for its logistics center. The new additional warehouse hall will have a capacity of over 15,000 pallet slots and a total surface of 7,200 square meters. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of summer. cargo-partner’s logistics center is the only one in Slovakia that is immediately connected to the Metrans container terminal. The cross-dock hall has nine gateways at which containers can be loaded directly onto the train. From there, they take the fastest intermodal route to the ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Koper and Rijeka. cargo-partner plans to invest EUR 3 million in this project.
