On Sunday, March 3, for a third consecutive year, Euromax Resources and Mundoro Capital are hosting the “Western Tethyan Belt” session at PDAC. The session highlights the Tethys as an emerging and increasingly attractive region for mineral projects as demonstrated by takeovers of former participants of this Tethyan Session. This year participating companies are CANSEE member companies Euromax Resources, Mundoro Capital, Dundee Precious Metals, MedGold Resources, as well as individual companies Zijin Mining, Velocity Minerals, Euro Sun Mining, Eldorado Gold, Georgian Mining and Chesterfield Resources that discussed their projects, while insights into the region were provided by government representatives.

The western portion of the Tethyan Belt remains underexplored yet is rich with mineral potential, low cost exploration services, local skilled workforces and good infrastructure. During his visit to PDAC, Minister Antić will also attend the IMMS – International Mines Ministers Summit where each year, Ministers responsible for mining and energy meet to discuss how to support a responsible and competitive industry that contributes to the sustainable development of local communities and the country as a whole.

In addition to the visit to PDAC convention, CANSEE, in cooperation with the Embassy of Canada to Serbia, the Embassy of Serbia to Canada, organized a Canadian Serbian Business Networking Cocktail with the goal of presenting Serbia as a good place for investing and improving business relationships between Canada and Serbia.
